My reason why.

Why am I opening up a nature play program?

Wow, this is my first blog post. I am nervous and excited for this. THIS is not in my

comfort zone, I am not a writer and I do not put myself out there! This is a big

step for me, and I am so happy to be starting!

Everyone has a reason why they do the things they do. Why you decide to

homeschool, why you decide to be in the job you are in, a reason why you wake

up in the morning.

My reason why, Caden(he/them)! My beautiful wild child! Raising this human being has changed me in ways I do not know if I can put in one post. The way I view the world has brightened since Caden was born. Everything I do I picture Caden and how this can affect small humans. How do these choices I make help them thrive in this world that is easy to fall?

Nature play is a big factor on how I see

children/youth thrive! Caden and I go for hikes, go to the forest just to play, we climb trees, build fires, read books

outside.

I see in Caden,

More freedom

More bravery

More imagination

I have worked with kids for many years. I have seen the calmness the outside

brings! When we are inside and everyone is starting to get restless, what is my

first thought? WE NEED TO GO OUTSIDE. The change is so instant, taking that first

breath of fresh air, being able to move without limitations, seeing the world

bigger than four walls gives the kids power!

Why I want to write blogs?

I want to send out content and provide information to all of you. I want to

be able to answer questions you might be having about nature play programs,

raising your young ones, benefits of the forest. I want to be there for you.

I hope you take these blogs as tools that can help make your days a little

easier.

I really want to say I thank you, thank you for taking the time to read this,

thank you for considering bringing your children to Wild Fauna Nature Play.

I am so excited to hear from you!

with love, Amanda
