Service Description

Come join us on our two days of Winter Sowing. What is Winter Sowing? We will be planting our seeds outdoors in the Winter freezing season in repurposed plastic bottles/containers creating mini greenhouses. Using the natural setting to help germinate our seeds. A program for ages 4-12 years old to get together to learn about gardening/sustainability. A new way of gardening when we do not have indoor space, heat lamps etc. What our days will look like; February 25th - Winter sowing (learning the the benefits/process) - Starting our gardens for our seedling program/donation garden plot April 14th - Observing the results of our Winter Sowing - Learning about the seedling process - learning the next steps of Winter Sowing gardening DETAILS: Our facilitators are bilingual, and as such, our programs are fully bilingual A follow up email will be sent to sign documents before the program starts.
