Bio

Zac is the newest addition to the Wild Fauna Nature Play team, bringing curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children. Drawn to nature-based education in search of a meaningful and rewarding experience, he quickly found his place among the trees, mud, and children of forest and nature school.

Zac is constantly inspired by the children he works with—their sense of wonder, their bold imaginations, and the way they see the world with fresh eyes. He believes in the power of play and nature to teach and connect with ourselves and he finds joy in the spontaneous forest adventure.

One of Zac’s favorite things to do is slow down and simply listen—to the wind in the trees, the soft rhythm of rain, and the distant call of wildlife. He loves sharing these quiet moments with children, helping them tune in to the often-overlooked magic of the natural world.

Outside of forest and nature school, Zac is a storyteller at heart. He enjoys board games, video games, and leading imaginative Dungeons & Dragons quests. His love for fantasy inspires playful, creative experiences outdoors—where stick swords and forest quests come to life in safe, respectful, and joyful ways.

We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
