Service Description

Join Us This Fall! 🍂 Come connect your senses to the forest as autumn unfolds its magic. Smell the crisp, earthy air. Hear the crunch of leaves and the chatter of birds preparing for winter. Feel the cool breeze on your cheeks and the texture of fallen leaves beneath your hands. See the tracks of forest creatures pressed into soft mud or scattered leaves. Together, we explore the land with curiosity and wonder. In this seasonal journey, we practice skills that build self-esteem, confidence, patience, and focus. Through questions, problem-solving, hands-on learning, and even the occasional mishap, children come to better understand themselves — their interests, limits, and strengths. Some of what we may explore in the forest includes (but is not limited to): • Respecting the land we are on • Playing safely in the forest • Nature journaling • Learning about Indigenous roots of the land • Team-building through play • Identifying animal tracks and local plant life • Practicing body consent and understanding boundaries • Observing fall season changes and their benefits • Cooking over the fire We welcome you into a child-led environment where we nurture bonds, trust, and meaningful friendships. DETAILS: Our facilitators are bilingual, and our programs are fully bilingual (English and French). A follow-up email will be sent with documents to sign prior to the program start. MAX 12 participants. We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
