Service Description

Come Explore the Forest This Fall! ๐Ÿ Smell the warm, earthy winds. Hear the birds preparing for their journey south. Watch as the trees light up in brilliant reds, oranges, and golds. Touch the crisp leaves and damp soil beneath your fingers. We explore the land with curiosity and wonder, following natureโ€™s rhythm as it shifts into fall. Along the way, we guide children through experiences that nurture self-esteem, confidence, patience, and focus. Through thoughtful questions, problem-solving, hands-on practice, and learning from mistakes, children deepen their understanding of themselvesโ€”their interests, limits, and growing strengths. Activities May Include: ๐Ÿ‚ Respecting and caring for the land ๐Ÿ‚ Playing safely in the forest ๐Ÿ‚ Nature journaling and mindful observation ๐Ÿ‚ Exploring the Indigenous roots of the land ๐Ÿ‚ Team-building through cooperative play ๐Ÿ‚ Identifying fall plants and animal tracks ๐Ÿ‚ Practicing consent and setting personal boundaries ๐Ÿ‚ Noticing seasonal changes and their benefits ๐Ÿ‚ Cooking warm snacks over a fire In our child-led environment, we nurture connection, trust, and friendship, while encouraging a lifelong love for the natural world. We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
