Service Description

A season of exploration, skill-building, and sun-soaked adventure. Summer invites us to slow down and dive deeper into the rhythms of the land. With longer days and warmer weather, children have the opportunity to expand their independence, strengthen friendships, and grow confident in their outdoor skills. Our summer sessions are child-led, curiosity-driven, and rooted in connection; to self, others, and the natural world. What We’ll Be Up To: • Fire & Outdoor Cooking • Water Play & Exploration • Advanced Forest Skills • Wildlife & Ecosystem Discovery • Creative Expression in Nature • Social & Emotional Growth • Land Stewardship 🌻What Makes Summer Different? • Longer uninterrupted play cycles • Deeper project work • Greater independence opportunities • Mixed-age collaboration • More physical challenge and resilience building Summer is where confidence grows fast; Where friendships deepen; Where children truly feel capable. No two days look the same — we move with the weather, the forest, and the children. Our Way This is a child-led, nature-based program where friendships grow, trust builds, and children are supported to take appropriate risks, try new things, and be fully themselves. We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
