It’s Earth Day — and We’re Planting Trees! 🌱🌍

Today, we’re taking real action for the planet — and we’re so excited to share that Wild Fauna Nature Play is officially planting trees with our community through the Neighbourhood Forest program!

We plant to give the roots a home to grow, we hug and love and care for to grow to something beautiful.
We plant to give the roots a home to grow, we hug and love and care for to grow to something beautiful.

Thanks to this beautiful initiative (and from our friend Stéphanie Millar, who initiated this for our community), we received free trees to plant with families and children — helping create a greener future, one tiny tree at a time.

This is such a beautiful way to celebrate Earth Day — not just by talking about caring for the planet, but by getting our hands in the dirt and doing it together. It's an opportunity to connect with the land, nurture something living, and create a little more green for future generations to enjoy.

🌳 Neighbourhood Forest has been gifting free trees to kids since 2010, with the goal of cultivating a generation that cares deeply for nature. We’re honoured to be a small part of that vision.

If you love what this initiative is doing and want to help it grow, consider making a donation through their website — but there’s no pressure. The program is designed to be completely free and accessible.

Today we celebrate Earth Day by giving back to the land that gives us so much. Happy Earth Day, friends! 🌍💚

We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
