We're Looking For a New Home

Our time at Domaine Labrador is coming to an end. This sad news came as a shock to us as it was not a decision we made but a decision on the property owners to end our contract with them. We have made some incredible memories at this location and met some amazing new friends.

Therefore, we are looking for a long term collaboration with an organization, family or individual in the Clarence-Rockland and Ottawa East-End area, that has land to share.

Here is the list of what we are specifically looking for, in order to be able to carry our work & fulfill our mission:

  1. At least 3-5 acres of land, with a mix of forest & field (or open meadow)

  2. An accessible water source - whether that’s a pond, a stream, and/or a creek.

  3. The ability to have localized campfires during the 4 seasons.

  4. A sturdy & reliable shelter - or the ability to add our own

  5. A wood stove in the shelter or the ability to legally install one.

  6. A private property (not accessible to the public), where privacy to the Forest School is provided so that we may run programs during the weekdays, evenings & weekends.

  7. Accessible road & parking.

  8. All year-round access Farm animals or the ability to have smaller hobby-farm animals(optional)

What’s in it for you?

In addition to supporting the well being, health & education of children in our community, you would be sharing space with a group of people who thrive to care & protect the environment, nature & all its living beings for the current & future generations to come. You would also be compensated (specifics would be discussed together). Lastly, If you are a local business, this collaboration would bring visibility to you & your business.

If this is you or someone you know, let’s connect!

2431 Old Highway 17

Rockland, ON K4K 1K7

We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
