Weekly Forest Adventurers Programs Update for Spring 2026

Three friends walking together

At the end of the last season we noticed a bitter sweet thing. The children that have been with us from the very beginning (it has been 3 years now) are now starting to age out of our preschool program. It has been such a blessing to be able to watch these little ones grow and thrive! <3 With this though, comes some changes that we hope will benefit everyone. We have decided to rename the programs and create a completely new one to accommodate those who are growing up.

Here is the list of the weekly forest adventurers programs for spring 2026:

Monday - The Wild Things - Ages 5 - 9 years - Starts March 23rd

For children who are ready to roam, build, question, and grow deeper roots in themselves and the land.

The Wild Things is a life-skills-based forest program designed to strengthen independence, cooperation, and emotional awareness through play and shared adventure. Children are invited to follow their curiosity while gently building responsibility, resilience, and strong friendships.

Tuesday - Forest Artist and Adventures (Half Day Afternoons) - Ages 6 - 13 years - Starts March 24th

This program is all about tapping into that creative spark — the one that comes alive when children are given time, space, and encouragement to express themselves in their own way. Each week, we’ll explore the arts through nature and play: drawing, storytelling, music, theatre, and working with our hands.

Wednesday - Little Forest Friends - Ages 2.5 - 5 years - Starts March 25th

A gentle, play-based introduction to forest learning.

Little Forest Friends is a child-led nature experience rooted in imagination, sensory exploration, and discovery. At this age, we honor rhythm, curiosity, and wonder — allowing children to lead while we provide a safe, supportive environment for growth.

Friday - Nature Nurturers - Ages 6-13 years - Starts March 27th

A mission-based forest program for older children

For children ready to deepen their relationship with the land and step into leadership, responsibility, and meaningful impact.

Nature Nurturers is a child-led, project-based forest experience where we explore real ways to care for and protect the spaces we love. Together, we identify missions that feel important to us — whether that’s habitat building, stewardship projects, wildlife support, trail care, or environmental advocacy.

Saturday - Into the Wild - Ages 6 - 13 years - Starts March 28th

A space to land, reconnect, and create together.

Into the Wild is our BY-weekly gathering designed for reflection, restoration, and joyful community connection. After a week of adventure and growth, Saturdays offer time to slow down, process emotions, strengthen friendships, and collaborate on meaningful projects.

This is where we rest, build, dream, and integrate.

We want to acknowledge that we play, learn & explore on the stolen lands and unceeded Anishinabewaki territory of the Anishinaabe people; and the lands of the Omamiwininiwag (Algonquin) people and Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) people of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy of six nations.

We offer an inclusive space by honoring everyone’s unique being, their race, their individual beliefs, language, religion & gender identities & fluidities. We honor our human peer’s pronouns and consistently respect & use them. We extend love to all our living relations by fully respecting all individual needs without judgment.
