Service Description

Join us Winter program for children, youth, and teens ages 4-15 years, to have an opportunity to learn through play We will meet weekly to learn and explore! Here are some examples of what your child(ren) will learn: • How we respect the land we are on • Playing safely in the forest • Journaling • Learn about connecting with nature using your 5 senses • Indigenous roots of the land • Team building skills • Plant/animal tracks identification • Our bodies consent/boundaries • Winter season changes and benefits • Cooking on the fire WHAT TO BRING: • Back pack • Water bottle • A set of spare clothes (or two) • Pencil/coloring pencils/Journal • Snack(s)/Lunch • Wear clothes properly fitted appropriate to the weather - winter coat and snow pants - water resistant mittens - winter hat - winter boots - scarves/neck warmers - Thick socks/layers of clothing * If collecting winter gear is difficult to attain this season, please reach out. A follow up email will be sent to sign documents before the program starts. MAX 7 students.
